Taylor is a local business man and is in constant motion as a Developer and Pool Contractor alone. When you learn about all that he is involved with, you too will wonder how anyone can do it all. Taylor sits
on the Board of Directors for Monarch Bank and is the Founder of Chesapeake Christian Music Festival which supports Nelly's House in Haiti which provides more than 4,000 meals per week to Haiti's under privileged and poor of the island.
At home in Chesapeake Taylor has also been coaching and mentoring our youth at Great Bridge High School Baseball team for the past 18 years. He had a desire to give back as a mentor and coach what he received so freely as a youth.
Taylor is humble in his approach and attitude with life and business. When asked by the Citizen when selected as Chesapeake Citizen of the Month in 2013 Taylor was quoted saying this:
“Sometimes the words ‘Christian’ and ‘religious’ don’t always accurately portray my spiritual commitment,” Grissom says. “Jesus Christ is my leader, and I have chosen to be His follower, plain and simple. He gave us two very plainly spoken commandments: Love God above all else and love your neighbor as yourself.”
